Inspirare Academy is a company that was established in 2016. We registered a sister Non-Profit Company Bricks for Kids to raise funds for the school.
Inspirare Academy was a small preschool class dedicated to children on the autism spectrum who was between the ages of 2 and 5 years. We were able to expand our range in 2019 to include children between the ages of 6 and 7 years. We can now accommodate Early Intervention, Preschool and Grade 1 upwards.
Currently, children with autism have little to no support before the foundation phase level, which is often too late for meaningful early intervention that can positively impact the course of their learning career. In addition, the autism spectrum is vast, and schools are not equipped to provide the individual attention and labour-intensive help these children so desperately need. Parents are left choosing between “less than ideal” classes (where children with special needs are bundled into one category) with little to no stimulation, and keeping their children at home.

We seek kind individuals who can make a difference to our capacity restrictions through sponsorship. Without adequate funding, we will not be able to secure the resources to accommodate more children.

Limitations
Assisting children with special needs is very expensive because they need individual attention. Currently, we do not have the child-to-teacher ratio to cover all our expenses. A child’s school fees merely cover a portion of our staff salaries. Other immediate costs include school supplies, subscriptions for special education programs and materials, first aid training, additional training for teachers from Autism South Africa, educational toys, rent, internet, and Accounting Services.
Solution
Build a vast network of monthly and annual sponsorships to cover our short-term needs and long-term goals.

It is our goal to obtain financial stability so that children on the autism spectrum have the same chance at a meaningful future as their friends at other schools.
Mission
Each child is a precious gift. They deserve every opportunity in life. We will strive to help each child to be their best self and reach their own individual star.
